La propuesta se enmarca en la línea de trabajo que vienen desarrollando estas entidades para promover la Agenda 2030 y su apropiación e implementación por los actores locales. Está orientada a personal técnico y político de gobiernos locales, provinciales y gobierno regional, sociedad civil organizada (ONGD) y universidades.
Los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible, adoptados en la Asamblea General de Naciones Unidas en 2015, marcan la agenda internacional para el desarrollo hasta el año 2030. Los 17 objetivos y 169 metas incorporan a los gobiernos regionales y locales como aliados de primer orden para su consecución. Una de las lecciones aprendidas de la era de los Objetivos del Milenio nos mostraba en qué medida el logro o fracaso de esta nueva agenda pasaría por la acción de los gobiernos locales y regionales en su implementación.
En Andalucía, el proceso de construcción de una agenda territorial basada en la participación de actores y la articulación institucional ya está en marcha; se basa, en gran medida, en el desarrollo de agendas locales para el alineamiento de las planes y programas municipales con la consecución de los ODS.
El FAMSI acompaña el proceso, acercando y trabajando los ODS junto a los gobiernos locales y provinciales, para analizar las claves de este trabajo, construir y adaptar las agendas locales de desarrollo sostenible, fortalecer la estrategia territorial, y mejorar la capacidad de incidencia de los gobiernos locales en la agenda global.
Este Encuentro taller está dirigido a gobiernos locales (representantes electos y técnicos de varios municipios de Andalucía), gobiernos provinciales (diputaciones), gobiernos regionales (Junta de Andalucía) y sociedad civil organizada (ONGD). Se impartirá el día 23 de noviembre, y tendrá una duración de dos horas y cuarto, durante las que se realizará una aproximación a los ODS, la localización y el alineamiento de planes locales y regionales a los Objetivos.
